Film
I have been formally commissioned to make two short films. The first came in 1996 following the four days of backwards walking (reverse pedestrian walk) on the biggest suspension bridge in the world (at the time) which was The HumberBridge. You can see the full picture album here.
The film is called Bridge. Experimental in nature. It was made with Tony Scott (Assistant Director) and Tom Scott (Sound). It was commissioned by Yorkshire Arts.
Experimental film:
Title: Bridge (original format 35mm). Running time: 4:15
A social documentary film (below) was commissioned ten years later by Friction Arts called Signature. The short film modestly allowed honest and direct monolgues from four individuals concerning the very nature that their signature had in one aspect of their life. These concerned newly weds and name change, a shopkeeper (Bharat Mehta, pictured) who, after 27 years was about to lose his two giftshops, an ethical trading cafe owner that also embarked on newspaper publications. The last story concerned a lady who had changed her signature sveral times - by way of legal obligations.

Social commentary film:
Title: Signature (format digital video). Running time 10:55
Additional experimental films were created in 2006/07 by myself and Olly Shapley under the name of Scart Trio. We incorported an intense use of audio and video analogue technology in which we played two films simultanously using the flawed mishaps of analogue machinary which assisted the tremedous clash of audio visuals as well as unpredictable narrative.
I hope to add some films below in the future.
